Angela had a great few days last month when she traveled to Washington and met with some of the government officials in DC. We were recently sent some pictures that really give a nice insight to the discussions that went on while she was there.

She had the opportunity to really make an impression about the Direct Selling industry, and what couldn't be more fun that to sit down face to face with those who represent us and have the opportunity to make a difference in so many lives!

"As a DSA company executive it was an honor to be an advocate on behalf of the 16 million direct sellers in the US. We discussed the importance of the Independent Contractor Status remaining as it is, and helping small business owners with decreased legislation.  We had a full day of meetings with seven different legislative offices.

Our Team met with Congressman Brett Guthrie from KY and Congresswoman Judy Biggert from IL, plus we met with Policy and Legislative Directors at the office of Pat Tiberi from OH, Kristi Noem from SD, Sandy Adams from FL, Diane Black from TN and Debbie Wasserman Schultz from FL.

It was terrific to share the hope and opportunity that Direct Selling provides individuals and families to our elected officials in Washington.  We effectively started to build relationships with a variety of elected officials sharing the difference direct selling makes in the US," says Angela.

Check out these fun pictures from her travels below:
